Limited Submission Programs
Sponsoring agencies sometimes restrict the number of applications or proposals that a campus can submit. Generally, limited submission programs allow the campus to submit a limited number of proposals for each application cycle. The SJSU Office of Research and the SJSU Research Foundation internally coordinate the limited submission process to ensure that the institution does not exceed the allowable number of proposals.
In summary, the limited submission process begins with submission of an internal SJSU Letter of Intent (LOI) to the department chair and dean. If approved by the chair and dean, the LOI goes to the Office of Research associate vice president for review. The associate vice president reviews and makes the final decision. When needed, a review committee is convened to assist with the review process.

Although this list is updated regularly, it may not include all available limited submission opportunities. This list should be used in conjunction with other grant opportunity resources, including online funding search databases, government agency websites, and on-campus funding resources.
