The Department of Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences offers advising sessions to all students.
For generic information and questions, students can refer to the Advising Hub webpage which is meant to bring together all the different advising and counseling offices to make it easier for you to find the updated, reliable information you need.
ACCESS provides advising for undergraduate students majoring or wanting to major in any of the departments and programs listed in the access website. ACCESS Center is located in Clark Hall 240.
Spring 2020 Sociology Major Advising
- You must meet with a Sociology Major Advisor to apply for Graduation. Schedule a virtual appointment or drop in during virtual office hours with Dr. DuCros/Dr. Sweet when you are ready to apply for graduation.
- You can schedule an appointment with Dr. Sweet via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
- You should meet with a major advisor at least once a semester, to ensure you are on track for graduation. Notice that faculty are divided by different areas.
- In addition to major advising, you are strongly encouraged to seek advising regarding your other graduation requirements from an advisor at the ACCESS Center.
