All Campus Tours are cancelled from March 11th - August. More information to come. We are located on the north side of the Student Union, right next to the Industrial Studies Building (please see image below). Signage will be posted from the North Parking Garage (10th street garage) to help guide you to our new location. When exiting the North Parking Garage please go left and cross San Fernando Street onto the main campus. Once on the main campus go straight towards the Student Union and turn right. We are located to your left, mid Student Union across from the Industrial Studies Building.

Tours

Prospective Student Tour

Prospective Student Campus Tours are for individuals or families interested in visiting the campus. You are given a 60 minute walking tour around campus with a current student. You must sign up online for your tour before arriving at SJSU. During peak times, tour times may be altered, and additional tours may be offered.  Please register for your tour at least two business days before your preferred tour time.

School/Group Tours

Group tours are for programs or large groups (groups of 15 or more).  Group tours continue to be offered on a limited basis due to high demand and limited resources, and reach capacity during popular break and vacation times.  Group tours should be scheduled at least 30 days before your requested tour date.

Library Tours

Library Tours have been suspended until further notice. You can follow the Library Instagram to check out the Library tour highlight. 

Self-Guided Walking Tour

The Self-Guided Walking Tour (PDF) and Map are also available for families and groups that are unable to register for a scheduled tour.

Pre-Admission Counseling

Pre-admission counseling for undergraduate students takes place Mondays-Thursdays from 9:00-4:00 and Fridays from 10:00-4:00 on a drop-in basis in the Student Outreach and Recruitment Office. Please visit our Meet with a Pre-Admission Counselor page for drop-in Counseling hours.

The Student Outreach and Recruitment Office is located on the first floor of the Student Services Center (on the corner of 9th and San Fernando).
