Training and Stipend Programs
Training and stipend programs providing training as well as funding during your studies in exchange for employment in certain areas after graduation. These are available in both the MSW and the BASW program.
Title IV-E Child Welfare program
The Title IV-E Child Welfare program at SJSU provides a stipend to eligible MSW students who agree to work full time after graduation in county public child welfare services for a specified period of time. There are different versions of the program available for full time and 3-year students. Program details and application information available on the Title IV-E program website.
Other training and stipend programs
The School also offers MSW training and/or stipend programs in Integrative Behavioral Health (IBH), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), and Adult Protective Services (APS). The Santa Clara County Mental Health Program is available for BASW students.
