Program Description 

Ljubljana International Summer School allows you to "take the best from East and West" by completing three units of summer coursework in the vibrant youth-oriented capital of Slovenia, located in Central Europe between Venice and Vienna.

Courses are built around management, marketing, and macroeconomics, and are taught in English by an international, interdisciplinary faculty. You will have a chance to explore eastern and western Europe, make lifelong friends, and bolster the international experience on your resume for a globally competitive marketplace.

  • Attend classes with students from all around the world
  • Go on an optional river rafting trip to the Soča Valley (where the Chronicles of Narnia were filmed!)
  • Take a bike tour of Ljubljana (voted Europe's green capital of 2016)
  • Learn about your international classmates' home countries during International Night (don't forget to bring your best USA gear!)

It is important to note that each program's total cost will vary depending on the location and the package it offers.  

One 3 Credit Course

$750 SJSU Special Session Tuition ($250 per unit)
$200 Administrative Fee 
$1,400 Program fees, lodging, class materials and class related tours approximately*
$2,350  Total Program Cost

Course includes: Class materials, welcome package, access to library and computer rooms, several organized social activities/events, a city bus pass, housing, and 2 meals (bkfst and lunch) daily.

$1,500 SJSU Special Session Tuition ($250 per unit)
