Q. Where did you grow up? A. I grew up in Palo Leyte, Philippines, where I attended elementary and high school. When it was time for college, I moved to the next town over, Tacloban City, and attended Divine Word University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Accounting.
Q. What do you like to eat?
A. I have an appetite for Chinese food, Mexican food, Vietnamese food and Indian food. If I’m not munching on these goodies, you will probably see me with a slice of pizza and a caesar salad at Pizza-My-Heart!
Q. What is your favorite spot on campus? A. My favorite spot is the Tower Lawn. During lunch time, I enjoy taking a stroll and sitting by the fountain, either reading a book or studying the beautiful greeneries at the lawn. I especially love the vines and roses that surround the area.
Q. What is the most satisfying part of your job?
A. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds. I’m interested in learning about their culture, home countries, personal values and upbringings. I value the relationships I’ve built with my customers, some of whom have become my friends.
Q. How do you spend your time outside of work?
A. Outside of work, I’m a homebody. I enjoy cooking and spending time catching up on Facebook posts (You all know how overwhelming those posts can get!). When time permits, I would love to travel to Paris, Italy and Germany.
Q. Who is someone that inspires you?
A. The person that inspires me the most is my dad. He’s a strong man who stands independently to face all odds. My dad inspires me to be the best that I can be and to always give my best in all I do.
