Savings Plus 401k/457b Webinars

• Enrolling in Savings Plus: Targeting new and non-Savings Plus participants. This webinar is designed to introduce employees to the Savings Plus 401k & 457b plan, its features, and provides instructions on enrolling.

• Investing with Savings Plus: Acquaint employees with the investment options available within the Savings Plus plan; lineup and introduce tools and resources to help participants build an investment plan to meet personal risk tolerance.

• Nearing Retirement with Savings Plus: Targeting employees within 5 years of retiring. This webinar helps exiting state employees understand what will transpire with their Savings Plus plan; its withdrawal and distribution parameters after separation. This webinar will touch upon strategies to mitigate taxation for those anticipating lump sum separation pay of unused vacation time.

• Social Security Basics: An introductory course to acquaint state employees with the Social Security retirement benefit and its moving parts (i.e., Full retirement age, the impact of filing early vs. later, etc.).
