Hiring Managers

Hiring Managers are defined as any MPP employee who has staff, MPP or faculty employees reporting to them. Department Chairs & Directors are considered Hiring Managers for the purpose of CHRS Recruiting.

Access

  • Individuals in these positions will be automatically granted access to do the following things in the CHRS Recruiting system:
    • Create Job Cards (initiate recruitments)
    • Move Applications through the Process (when listed as the Hiring Manager for the position)
    • Screen Applications and Evaluate Interviews (when listed as the Hiring Manager for the position or as a chair/member of a search committee)

Training

  • Required: None
  • Recommended: Approve Job Cards, Managing Recruitments, Screening Applications & Evaluating Interviews, Initiate Recruitments
