Parking and Transit Information

4/25/13 CRED Symposium at San Jose State University

The Future Real Estate and Space Needs of the Tech Industry in the Bay Area

The event takes place at the Student Union building, in the Northeast section of the campus, near Tenth and San Fernando Streets.  Due to construction around the Student Union, the only open entrances to the building are on the north and south sides.

Here is a campus map (pdf)

The parking garages fill up quickly, so guests are advised to arrive before 8:30 am.

There are 3 parking garages on campus.  The closest one to the Student Union is the North Garage, on 10th and San Fernando. You will need to buy a day-pass, which is $8.  There are machines on some floors in each garage where you purchase a parking permit to display on your dashboard.  The machines accept coins, $1, $5, and $10 bills, and Visa/MasterCard.

There are also several parking garages within the vicinity of campus, shown on this map, with more information about the options here.

VTA buses and light rail stop near campus. In addition, there is a free shuttle (DASH) connecting the Diridon Station (Caltrain) with campus.
