Conducting Research on Creep and Shrinkage of Concrete, Heat of Hydration of CIDH Concrete Piles, and working on a new device to determine very Early Shrinkage of fresh grout and Concrete. Also involved in research on long-term performance of concrete for the Benicia-Martinez Bridge and the new constructed Bay Bridge in California. In charge of the Concrete laboratory. Advisor to the ACI Student chapter.
