
his workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to examine free web-based teaching resources, share online tools, and discuss contemporary issues related to computer-augmented education. Our primary goal is to ensure that each participant departs with at least one new resource that will save time and enhance productivity. Presenter Bio: Dr. Andrew Wood is an assistant professor in the Communication Studies department and a faculty-in-residence for the Alquist Center for Innovative Learning at San José State University. His teaching interests include internet communication, nonverbal communication, and rhetoric. His co-authored textbook, Communicating Online: Linking Technology, Identity, and Culture, is in press and due in early 2001.
