Dina Izenstark is an Assistant Professor in the Child and Adolescent Development Department. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She conducts applied, interdisciplinary research exploring the impact of time spent in nature on children and families, and how family-based nature activities can promote strong family relationships.
