Course Description

Analytics is not just one single discipline; it is the entire body of quantitative decision sciences that helps managers make rapid, precise and profitable decisions. Through analytics, managers are able to gain insights, iterate on strategic options, and fine-tune and optimize implementations. There are three main branches of analytics. Through data mining, managers are able to create descriptive analytics. Using a variety of computer models, managers can develop predictive analytics. Finally, using optimization models, managers can improve decision making with prescriptive analytics.
