Bio

Dr. Quan is currently a Full Professor of entrepreneurship with the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business. She was a SPRIE Fellow with Stanford University before joining SJSU. She is also Director for Center for Global R&D and Innovation (GLORAD) Silicon Valley. Her research interests and publications are in the fields of entrepreneurship, and technology and innovation management.

Dr. Quan was a board member on the IEEE Technology Management Society (TEMS) Administrative Committee from 2017 to 2019, and co-organized several IEEE TEMS international conferences including flagship conference TEMSCON. She has been on the editorial boards for several well-recognized academic journals in the field of innovation such as Technovation and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.

Dr. Quan is a member of the steering committee of Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship at San Jose State University, and has been a judge for Silicon Valley Business Plan Competition and Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge for many years. She is also a part time investment partner at TSVC, an early-stage deep tech-focused venture capital firm in Silicon Valley.
