Bio
I received my Doctorate in Linguistics from University of Paris 7 in 1984. I have been teaching French language, literature, and linguistics since 1988 at SJSU, where I also serve as adviser to the French Master's degree program. My field of specialization is French Renaissance. My publications include Les Inventeurs du bon usage (Paris: Minuit, 1992), and critical editions of Bertrand de La Borderie's L'Amie de court (Paris: Champion, 1997) and Le Discours du Voyage de Constantinoble (Paris: Champion, 2003, and of Pernette du Guillet's Rymes (Paris: Champion, 2007). I am a reviewer for MERLOT and a contributor to the AATF electronic journal.
