With a background in language and literacy education, multimodal communication and technology-enhanced learning, David teaches and conducts research on language teacher development and place-based language learning. He has published in numerous venues, is currently co-editing two volumes on linguistic landscape and language pedagogy, and serves as Associate Editor for the journal Linguistic Landscape.
