Lawrence Quill is an Associate Professor of Political Science at San Jose State University, CA. He is the author, of Liberty After Liberalism (London: Macmillan, 2006) and Civil Disobedience: (Un)common Sense in Mass Democracies (London: Macmillan, 2009).
He has published most recently on Hannah Arendt's political philosophy, professional ethics, and the philosophy of education. His current research focuses on scandal in public life, the social and political dynamics of greed, the physics of moral agency, and the moral economy of video games.
