As SJSU celebrates its 150th anniversary, the university has revived another esteemed tradition: having graduating seniors leave a legacy for those that follow. The SENIOR GIFT CAMPAIGN provides students with an opportunity to celebrate their own success by investing in the future of their soon-to-be alma mater. The 2007 Senior Gift will augment the Student Emergency Fund, which provides assistance to students involved in tragic events or crisis situations, helping to keep their education on track while lessening the impact of unexpected emergencies. Along with graduating seniors, parents, friends, faculty and staff can make contributions. If you would like to make a donation, contact Robin Bates at 408-924-1782, in SJSU's Office of Annual Giving.
The magazine GENTRY South Bay covers the 150th in its May issue. See the editor's introduction on page 16 and 'SJSU Milestone,' a four-page story, starting on page 72. View the stories online.
