Have a bachelor’s (any major) from an accredited institution.

GPA of at least 2.5, 3.0 recommended. Optional: applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may submit GMAT or GRE scores to demonstrate readiness for graduate work.
Out-of-State Requirements

U.S. Residency: The MSTM program only admits applicants who are already living in the United States. Check whether your state permits residents to register for online programs at SJSU.

An English language proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS or PTE) is required if a student's baccalaureate was earned outside of the US. For more information, visit the graduate admissions site.

Applicants with international degrees outside the U.S. or Canada must have their transcripts evaluated by WES, ACEI, ECE, or TEC and sent to SJSU directly from the evaluation agency.
