General Requirements

A 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

A preferred GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended

Resume with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
Program-Specific Requirements

Statistics course with a grade of B or higher

Economics course with a grade of B or higher (microeconomics, macroeconomics or principles of economics)

Each course must be equivalent to 3 units or higher

An English language proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS or PTE) is required if a student's baccalaureate was earned outside of the US. For more information, visit the graduate admissions site. TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5 or DET 120 (international)

All applicants with international coursework must provide a WES (World Education Services), ACEI (Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute, Inc.) ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators), or TEC/Spantran (The Evaluation Company) Evaluation for any coursework completed outside of the U.S., U.S. Territories & Canada.
Graduation Requirements

Students must pass the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR)

Complete 42 units (11 required courses, 4 electives)

Complete a comprehensive project within the Strategic Thinking course

Upon completion of the degree requirements, the student must have achieved a minimum candidacy GPA and an SJSU cumulative GPA of 3.0 to graduate
