Professional interests include cultural foods, recipe and food product development, healthy cooking, and sustainable food systems.

Personal interests include cooking, trying new foods, gardening, singing, playing guitar, and spending time with my family.

Past experience:

Most recently I managed the test kitchen at Sunset magazine where I also wrote and developed recipes. I’ve also worked in chocolate production, gourmet olive oil, and food product development. In addition to teaching, I work as a freelance recipe developer.
