Rooms

Men and women live on separate floors at the International House. Exceptions are occasionally made based on demand so that there may be some women living at the end of the men's hallway, or some men living at the end of the women's hallway. Bedrooms are fully furnished and include bed with drawers, desk, chair, dresser, and walk-in closet. Each floor has its own bathroom facilities.

Restrooms are single gender, except on the the first floor where the single restrooms are gender-neutral.

Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their bedroom. The bathrooms and common rooms of the House are cleaned daily Monday through Friday.

Residents provide their own linen which can be bought upon arrival in San Jose. Although we recommend purchasing your own linen, linen can be rented for $150 from the International House. A linen packet includes sheets, pillow and pillowcase, blanket, and towel.

On each floor with bedrooms, residents have access to an ironing board and iron.
