Biography
Rajiv Khanna, a native of Bombay , India , earned his B.A. from Newman University in Wichita , Kansas , and is finishing his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He specializes in 19 th and 20 th century European International history and Modern South Asian history. His research focuses on the "peculiar partnership" between the greatest former imperial power, Great Britain , and its non-aligned former colony, India . Rajiv Khanna is also fascinated by the international consequences of forced population migration in a broad, comparative perspective. His teaching interests include modern British, European, World, and South Asian history, as well as empire and decolonization, the 20 th century world, diplomatic history, and the Cold War from a global perspective.
