Activities

The number one activity of PAT is to support fellow history students. The Beta Lambda Chapter is a melting pot of students who all share a love of history. Not only are we a scholarly organization, but also we are a social one that can introduce you to new ideas and new friends.

As the main student organization in the history department at SJSU, PAT works yearly on raising funds to host, along with the department, our annual June Commencement. Fundraising activities include bake sales, book sales, and BBQ's. All members are encouraged to help where they can.

Other activities include various social get-togethers during the semester and trips to nearby historical sites. In addition PAT members can always be found mingling in the student lounge located in Dudley Moorhead Hall, Room 134.
