Faculty Grants

SJSU Faculty-Led Programs

SJSU faculty are invited to plan and lead academic courses abroad for 3-8 weeks during the summer term or winter intersession on a Special-Session basis. Besides providing students with a short-term option for studying abroad, these programs are intended to encourage faculty to increase their field knowledge and bring back ideas for internationalizing the SJSU campus. Support services are provided by International Programs and Services (IPS) and seed-money grants are available. Six $1,500 seed-money grants will be available each year for faculty to develop new programs.
