Student Network
Global Student Network is a student organization officially recognized by Associated Students, Inc. at San Jose State University. The organization is composed of students interested in all aspects of study abroad. We have a membership of about 25 students every semester, and it continues to grow. GSN is comprised of study abroad applicants, study abroad alumni, and international students currently on exchange programs here at SJSU (J1-Students). The purpose of this organization is to promote San Jose State University's Study Abroad program. Events on and off campus will join potential Study Abroad students, exchange students studying at San Jose State, and San Jose State Study Abroad alumni together and provide an environment in which to share individual experiences. The organization was founded by three American students and three international students in the Fall semester 2001. GSN was officially recognized as a student organization in the Fall 2003 and proves to be an asset to the SJSU campus, the students and the International Programs and Services Office.
