The Learning Assistance Resource Center is designed to assist students in the development of their full academic potential and to motivate them to become self-directed learners. The center provides support services, such as skills assessment, individual or group tutorials, subject advising, learning assistance, summer academic preparation and basic skills development. The tutor training program is certified by College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) The Learning Assistance Resource Center is located on the corner of 10th Street and San Fernando Street in the Student Services Center (SSC 600). If you look at the campus map the Student Services Center is located in the top right corner. The tutorial hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am until 5:00 pm and Friday, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
