Welcome to San José State University's Learning Assistance Resource Center (LARC). We provide a variety of academic services to promote student achievement and success. Our staff are dedicated to support classroom instruction and strive to create a learning environment that encourages and supports students' growth and development. Our tutors are trained and nationally certified to tutor students in course content and teach them learning skills to achieve academic excellence.

During the Spring and Fall semesters, LARC offers tutoring services that assist students in learning study strategies and understanding course concepts. We will guide you to better understand and organize your lecture and reading notes, develop strategies to better retain new information, and teach you how to edit and proofread your papers.
