Invite potential DVBE subcontractors to participate by supplying them with all the information they need to bid to you, such as:

• The service or product available for bid.
• The geographic area where the work will take place, if applicable.
• The awarding department.
• The due date for bids.
• Your contact information.
• Any other information needed to bid.

The method you use for contacting DVBEs is up to you, but be sure that you give each DVBE the same information and instructions. You should document the efforts you make in seeking a DVBE.
