Candidacy Forms

Before you apply for your award of Master's Degree, you must have your Candidacy form completed and approved by Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations (GAPE), according to the deadline dates.

• Change of Classification (from conditional to classified standing): http://www.sjsu.edu/gape/docs/change_classification.pdf. Required if you were admitted under conditional circumstances.
• Petition for Advancement to Graduate Candidacy: http://www.sjsu.edu/gape/docs/candidacy.pdf. Required after completion of 9 units.
