The American Association of University Women

The American Association of University Women San José Branch coordinates programs with International House that provide opportunities for residents and community members to interact, such as a cross-cultural discussion on dating and marriage customs held at I-House and a question and answer session with Asian residents held at AAUW.

Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of San José's International House Committee was established in the early eighties in response to Rotary International's goal to “Foster World Understanding.” The Committee applies funds that are received from the Rotary Endowment to support programs that serve students at the I-House.

Such programs include:

  • Providing updated computer, server, and wireless access equipment
  • Subsidizing tickets to San José area performing arts programs
  • Maintaining exterior and interior international flags
  • Welcoming attendance at San José Rotary Club luncheons/programs
  • Encouraging participation in San José Rotary Community Service activities
  • Offering group Formal Dinner photo to residents each semester
  • Contributing interior improvements and design consultation
  • Supporting career mentoring
