Dr. Wendy Lee has over a decade of industry experience in software development, biotech R&D and bioinformatics positions, where she developed analytical pipelines for large-scale genomic data and built enterprise software for various industries. Her research interests include developing machine-learning-based models to improve the accuracy of variant calls using next-generation sequencing data and developing new methods for analyzing genomic, transcriptomic and metagenomic data. She also has a passion for fostering the success of women and girls in the STEM fields through training, networking and mentorship.
