International Gateways Check-in



To receive more information about the Placement Test and Welcome Week activities, students are required to check in at the International Gateways office after they arrive in the United States and before their session begins.

The International Gateways office is located in the Industrial Studies Building, Room 227 (on San Fernando Street, between 8th and 9th Streets) on the San José State University campus. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except university holidays.

The check-in process will take approximately half an hour to one hour. Students must bring all of the required documents listed on the Admission Tracking Site in order to check in. After checking in, students will receive their orientation schedule with information about the Placement Test and Welcome Week activities.
