The Department of Occupational Therapy—an innovator in Occupational Therapy curriculum is now offering an Advanced Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Occupational Therapy (MBOT) to prepare licensed healthcare professionals to meet the complex needs of the current evolving healthcare system.

This first-of-its-kind academic certificate program in mindfulness adapts to the interests and aspirations of its participants, providing a powerful learning environment to nourish personal and professional development in a truly unique way. The MBOT program is working to build a mindfulness-based healthcare community to provide participants with the support, skills, context, and experience, enabling them to effectively share their own embodied mindfulness practice with others in real-life and in diverse healthcare settings.
