Welcome to Summer Session
Summer Session provides current San Jose State University students and the public an opportunity to take classes for college credit during one of three convenient time frames. Several hundred courses are offered from a variety of SJSU colleges and departments. Whether you wish to get ahead in your studies, make up for courses missed, or explore new areas of study, Summer Session can help. Credit goes toward your degree. Courses and credit are also available to community college and other non-SJSU students as well.
Three Sessions Offered:
Session I: June 2 – August 8 (ten-week)
Session II: June 2 – July 3 (five-week)
Session III: July 7 – August 8 (five-week)
One set of deadlines and payment due dates apply to all three sessions. Official transcripts showing summer grades available after August 19.
Before enrolling in a class, students must meet any required course prerequisites. Academic credits earned during Summer Session may be used towards the completion of your SJSU bachelor's or master's degree.
