Programs

The Center for Faculty Development offers several programs to support faculty, staff and student peer mentors.

The Center for Faculty Development builds on its mission to support faculty by:

  1. Offering opportunities for professional development for all SJSU faculty in order to:
    1. Advance curriculum, pedagogy, and technology to enhance instruction,
    2. Encourage scholarly inquiry into college teaching and learning, and
    3. Enhance faculty careers
  2. Serving as an information and support resource for faculty by building collaboration with other campus units, and
  3. Providing a Center for faculty collegiality on campus and offering a variety of services to enhance faculty lives.Instruction and consultation in the use of technology to improve teaching and learning and to increase productivity is offered to faculty, staff and student peer mentors.
