Admitted Spartans Day - Spring 2021 Virtual Open House
We have created some great content to give you a backstage pass to our engineering programs. You will find pre-recorded presentations, which explain our programs. Join us for a special live session 'Chat with the Dean'.
We're celebrating the College's 75th Anniversary
Throughout 2021, we will celebrate the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering's history from its humble beginnings in 1946. You can look forward to new web pages in the Spring with a robust historic timeline and photos, and a college-wide student video competition with the theme: “My club/my major/my department is the best because...” Five winners will be announced in February during National Engineers week, and 1st prize is $500! We are also planning a double issue of the alumni magazine, Engineering at San Jose State, with a feature from every department.

Turbocharge Your Education
The College of Engineering hosts a variety of events for engineering students throughout the school year. We host movie nights, club fairs, hackathons, National Engineering Week (in February) and three different lecture series, where guest speakers from successful careers give inspiration and insight to our own future leaders.
Now in its second year, GO is the Engineering Dean’s way to nudge you into attending that lecture you heard about, joining that club, or setting aside that time you know you’ll need to work on your LinkedIn profile. Each of these actions (and so many more) could actually help you on the path to your career.
There are a lot of opinions swirling around how, when and why to get an internship. For this series of articles, the College of Engineering teamed up with the Career Center to address some important myths or assumptions that might be steering you off course.
There are more than twenty events just for sophomores! Meet professors, manage your time, study abroad and more. Check this page frequently and schedule the zoom calls. The mission of the Spartan Sophomore Success Program is to help students transition from their first year to their second year and provide a series of events to help increase their social, personal, professional and academic development.
