The Center for Faculty Development partners with several offices and units (including the Office of Research, the Office of Faculty Affairs, the Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association and the Research Foundation) to offer faculty opportunities to apply for release time, travel funds and other resources.

Below, you will find instructions and application forms pertaining to each of these programs.  The Center for Faculty Development staff will be very happy to provide you with any assistance we can as you develop your ideas and craft your applications.

Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association - Faculty Research and Creative Activity Award

It is with great pleasure that the Board of the SJSU Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association (SJSU ERFA) announces the second year of the SJSU ERFA Faculty Research and Creative Activity Award, AY 2015-2016. The award was created by SJSU ERFA to support scholarly research and creative activity that advance the careers of faculty applicants. Faculty eligible to apply include lecturers with more than 6 years of continuous service to SJSU, tenure-track faculty and tenured faculty. Deadline for submission of all required materials is 5:00pm, Friday, February 5, 2016.
