Prospective Conventional MBA Students

Conventional MBA

The Conventional MBA is a part-time program, designed for individuals who prefer the educational atmosphere provided by San José State University setting. The Conventional MBA provides semester-length courses that meet one evening per week during the 16-week Fall and Spring semesters. A limited number of six-week courses are available on campus during the summer term.

The Conventional MBA program brings together students from a variety of academic, career, and cultural backgrounds.

Work experience is not required for admission. The average age of the SJSU MBA student is 32. Reflecting the area's population, the student body is a multicultural assembly. Instruction in our MBA programs is a combination of case studies, lecture, research, team projects, computer analysis, student presentations, and presentations by members of the business community.
