The Master's Program in Mexican American Studies at San José State University is committed to training the next generation of Chicana/o Studies scholars and activists to take on the vast array of issues facing academia and our communities today. 

Now is a very exciting time to join our department!  We have a great faculty with a wide array of interests/expertise, continue to hire our grad students to work in our undergraduate mentoring program, and are focused on our mission of serving our students and communities through Chicana/o Studies work for Social Justice in all its forms. 

We will be accepting applications for Fall 2013 admission from OCtober 1, 2012 through March 1, 2013.We would like to notify students of admission as early as possible so applicants must meet all deadlines.
