San Jose State University remains a powerful bargain for quality education.

The Department offers several teaching associate (TA) positions for graduate students who have been in the program for at least one semester; in these positions, graduate students instruct lower division undergraduate students in beginning acting courses and introductory courses in video-television technology. Some faculty teaching high-enrollment courses employ graduate assistant (GA) positions for help with grading, working with class sections and other pedagogical assistance. See further information.

The University does offer a variety of loans and financial aid to students who attend full-time. Details from Financial Aid and Scholarships & Graduate Awards and Scholarships.
