Small Research Grants

RE: GUIDELINES FOR SMALL RESEARCH GRANTS
- The proposals should be typed directly on the application form (doc). The length should not exceed two pages total (excluding cover), with a minimum font size of 12 pts.
- All faculty and students pursuing research are eligible to apply.
- The proposed timelines for the research is to be within the period from April 15, 2009 to June 30, 2010. The Committee will not fund research already in progress or completed prior to April 15, 2009.
- Travel funds will be limited to travel for data collection or to implement the study.
- The awards will be for a maximum of $1,000.00.
- Services available for free through the University will not be funded.
- A report on the research funded must be submitted to the Committee by December 15, 2010. Failure to file a report will eliminate you from consideration of future grants awarded by the College.
- As proposals will undergo blind review, please make no reference to your home department or school, nor provide any other identifying information in Part II of your proposals.
- Submit 1 copy of the proposals to the Dean’s Office, College of Applied Sciences and Arts, Attention: Small Grants Sub-Committee of the CASA Research Committee, Room 433, MacQuarrie Hall. The due date is Monday, March 9, 2009.
