![]() | Rona HalualaniFaculty-in-Residence Professor, Communication Studies Rona provides professional development opportunities on practicing what it means to be an intercultural and competent communicator. She facilitates a series of intercultural interaction modules that will highlight the following areas: self-assessment, verbal and non-verbal communication, ensuring clear communication, practicing interaction skills and competences. Through hands-on practice and simulations in the series of professional development, participants will gain an understanding of the differences and importance of verbal and non-verbal cures as well as learn tools for ensuring effective communication with our diverse campus community.
