Professor, Communication Studies

Rona provides professional development opportunities on practicing what it means to be an intercultural and competent communicator. She facilitates a series of intercultural interaction modules that will highlight the following areas: self-assessment, verbal and non-verbal communication, ensuring clear communication, practicing interaction skills and competences.

Through hands-on practice and simulations in the series of professional development, participants will gain an understanding of the differences and importance of verbal and non-verbal cures as well as learn tools for ensuring effective communication with our diverse campus community.

Rona is available for consultation. Rona earned her doctorate in Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University.
