As Interim Associate Director for the Center for Faculty Development, Mary Fran is the operational manager for the Center. Contact her for information about the services the Center for Faculty Development offers, request a session designed to meet the specific interests and needs of the department, school and/or college, and suggest services and or activities that will benefit the campus community.

As Director of the Wireless Laptop Project, Mary Fran coordinates the campus resources that support the project, builds partnerships with businesses and the community and provides professional development activities for faculty. The 21st Century workplace requires highly productive citizens who are able to use technology tools effectively to communicate with a diverse world community, manage complex tasks, and to collaborate with colleagues across the hall and across the ocean.

As Director of iTunesU@San Jose State University, Mary Fran coordinates the campus resources that support the project, builds partnerships with businesses and the community and provides professional development activities for faculty and staff. iTunesU @ San Jose State University provides accessible audio, enhanced audio (sound and images) and video podcasts of classroom instruction, University actitivies, and guest speakers. All podcasts on iTunesU@San Jose State University are accessible in accord with the guidelines established by the California State University Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI).
