Accessibility and iTunesU @ San Jose State University
iTunesU @ San Jose State University can be accessed at http://www.sjsu.edu/itunesu or by launching iTunes and locating San Jose State University in the iTunesU section. In support of the California State University Coded Memorandum, AA-2007-04, Access to Electronic and Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, content on iTunesU @ San Jose State University is designed to meet the needs of all, including those who have disabilities. Transcripts of all audio and video files are available. Many media files, have a text transcript embedded in the metadata of the file. To access transcripts that are embedded within the Lyrics field, download the file to your computer. Select the file, choose "Get Info" from the File Menu within iTunes application. In the dialogue box, choose the Lyrics tab. The transcript is now available. Transcripts of other audio and video tracks are posted in a transcript tab on the course site. Some video files are closed captioned.
