Fall 2012 New Faculty Orientation
Welcome to SJSU!
We are delighted to have you join us, and we are eager to help you as you get under way here. We have planned a number of events to help you get acquainted with key people and resources and to help you get ready for your first day of classes. We invite all new tenure-track faculty to attend a day-long orientation on Friday, August 17th, from 8:00 to 4:00, in MLK Library 213. We invite all new lecturers to attend one of three identical orientation sessions on Tuesday, August 21 (8:30-11:30 and 2-5) and Wednesday, August 22 (8:30-11:30), also in MLK Library 213. In addition, we invite all new faculty (both tenure-track and lecturers) to attend any or all of the hour-long workshop sessions we have scheduled throughout Monday, August 20th, Tuesday, August 21st and Wednesday, August 22nd.
