The Office of Graduate & Undergraduate Programs (GUP) strives to ensure the development of quality degree programs, recognize and reward student and faculty accomplishments, and implement the policies and procedures by which the university is governed. The goals of GUP are multifold: to oversee processes to ensure the quality of graduate and credential programs, to act as an advisory resource to programs initiating or transforming their academic programs, to advocate for faculty and student programmatic needs in the area of scholarship and creative activities, to ensure the university is in compliance with all federal, state, and CSU policies dealing with curriculum and research, to disseminate the guidelines for policy related to graduate education and research, and to facilitate development of new degree programs at the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate and joint-doctoral degree levels.
