Pregnancy Disability Leave
The CSU provides pregnancy disability leave (PDL) to eligible employees in accordance
with the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
If you take part or all of the maximum four (4) months of pregnancy disability leave, you may request up to twelve (12) weeks additional family leave for reason of the birth of your child or due to your own serious medical condition.
Upon completion of PDL, you are entitled to return to the same position or another position with equivalent benefits, pay and conditions of employment.
