Health Science, concentration in Health Professions
Option 5. B.S. in Health Science with a Concentration in Health Professions
Only students who have completed one of the five allied health professional preparation programs (dental hygiene, paramedic, primary care associate/physician assistant, radiologic technology, and respiratory therapy) and their Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) at a California community college can select this option. Additionally, students who select this option must be ready to sit for (or have already taken) their licensure exam. Students who select Option 5 are required to complete the Health Science core courses and three (3) upper-division elective course. Option 5 is for those students who have begun their careers in an allied health profession and want to complete their undergraduate degrees to advance their careers.
