The Donald and Sally Lucas Graduate School of Business was officially named in 2006, thanks to a generous gift from San Jose State University alumni, Donald and Sally Lucas. The College of Business was established in 1928 and later accredited by the prestigious AACSB International(The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), an honor bestowed on only less than 5% of business schools worldwide. SJSU is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California State Board of Education.
